Connectivity and addressing
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Carrier | KPN business fibre |
| Bandwidth | 1Gbit symmetric, dedicated fibre to the PoP |
| IPv4 (game servers) | Dutch IPv4 on KPN business fibre |
| IPv4 (VPS) | /29 routed IPv4 leased from ExtraIP |
| RIPE registration | The VPS /29 is registered to Passim IT in RIPE. Leased, not owned. |
| Port blocking | No port blocking, inbound or outbound. |
| Failover | 4G failover on the building connection. Configured, but never yet exercised by a real fibre outage - so treat it as designed-for, not proven. |
| Location | Netherlands |

What a whois lookup actually returns
Two different kinds of address are in use here, and only one of them carries this company's name. Rather than describe them with one flattering sentence, here is what you get if you look each of them up.
VPS. A /29 leased from ExtraIP, registered to Passim IT in the RIPE database. That registration is real and you can check it. It is a lease rather than ownership: the block is allocated to this company for as long as the arrangement with ExtraIP continues, and calling that "our IP space" would be overstating it.
Game servers. Minecraft and Hytale servers sit on the KPN business fibre connection. Those are Dutch addresses inside KPN's space, and a whois lookup on one of them returns KPN and a third-party registrant, not Passim IT. No claim is made here that it does. Your addresses are Dutch and unfiltered, which is what actually affects your players; the name on the RIPE record is not.
The reason to spell that out: an earlier version of this page claimed RIPE registration for everything, which was true of the VPS block and false of the game server addresses. If a host tells you to verify something, the verification has to come back matching.
No port blocking, inbound or outbound. That includes UDP, which matters for Hytale, whose server transport is QUIC over UDP on port 5520.
