Why we are not the cheapest
Reserving RAM instead of overselling it puts a hard ceiling on how many customers fit on the cluster. Hosts who sell the same gigabyte three times can charge a third as much and still make money, right up until the evening everyone logs in at once.
The price also covers hardware that is owned rather than rented, ZFS with two-drive redundancy, off-site encrypted backups, Dutch IP space with no port blocking, and a person who answers technical questions with technical answers. If your priority is the lowest number on a comparison page, there are plenty of options and we are not one of them.
